We are in need of a Mini-Digger that we can borrow to use on the yard. Can anyone ‘lend’ us one for a couple of jobs?

Plans for the film are still being drawn up, but a website has been launched in a bid to attract the necessary funding from the film industry.

Heritage Centre gets planning permission

On the 14th January 2010 the Bolton council planning permission meeting approved the plans for the conversion of Fred former home to a Heritage Centre.

Initially there was concerns from local residences regarding the amount of traffic and parking disruption that the Heritage centre would bring to the area, but the current owners have made a deal with Metro Taxis to provide free transfers to and from Bridge Centre car park in Bedford street. (Ed: does anyone have details/tel/web/email for Metro Taxis, they deserve some extra business for helping out)

Accrington landmark mill demolished

AN ACCRINGTON landmark came crashing to earth, marking the end of a mill’s 229-year history.

The demolition of Woodnook Mill chimney created a huge dust cloud as it came swiftly down, watched by a crowd of spectators who had gathered in the rain to watch the end of an era.
