Andrew Bootles posted a question asking what happened to Fred's Landrover, this was after Leon over at the Heritage Centre said that the machine was 'long gone'.

I did a bit of digging about and found out that the Landrover was removed from Fred's house on Boxing Day 2006 after the house and garden was broken into and ransacked.

One of the movies "Fred Dibnah’s Engines “A moving story”" that was included in "Memories of a Steeplejack" shows the Landrover and Fred's two engines being towed out of the garden and loaded onto flat beds. Later in the film Alan Atkinson (aka Atkinson Tralor Hire) was interviewed and asked where the steam engines are going, his reply is that Betsy is going to his yard for storage, while the other engine is going to a friend of his. There was no mention of where exactly the Landrover was going to.

This leads to the main question "Where's betsy?" Does anyone know if it's still with Atkinson? Fred's will left the engines to Fred's sons Jack and Roger, who I understand are in the Isle of Man, was it shipped over there? And then to ask the question that started this whole thing off: Where's the Lany?

Can anyone help answer any of these questions please let me know.
