On a continuing push to raise funds (and clear some space) at the Heritage Centre, the current owners are starting to put some larger items up for sale.
Update: Seems the auction was a great success, the Ladders went for £107 and the trailer for £100. Congratulations to the two winners!
First to go under the hammer are one of Fred’s red wooden ladders, they have been stored indoors so they sound like they are in great condition. This item has already had 5 bids on it, so interest is building. More details.
Next up, sadly not in as good condition, is a heavy duty trailer, with bidding starting from 0.99 it certainly ‘priced to sell’ but remember we are reminded that all funds go the Heritage Centre. More details
Sorry no items found. Try manual search: 'Fred’s old ladders and trailer for sale'.

To JOHN,
Have you been to freds house have you seen what leon and jo are doing.
Ive been there and i know they are putting in 1000% in to freds dream. O by the way have you done any work for for freds dream ? think not.If you are so concerned why didt you buy the house. This house could of been sold to any tom, dick and harry and freds yard would of gone for ever.So JOHN
SHUT UP GET LOST AND DONT CROSS MY PATH EVER!
Thanks to all of you for your positive comments It really has been a long hard road, and as if we have’nt got enough crap to deal with from officialdom we get morons like this “JOHN” who doesnt even have the guts to write his full name, making truly spiteful and nasty comments, if he had any decency, which he obvioulsy hasnt, and thought that much of Fred then he might realise that Freds long term dream was to turn his home and garden into a heritage centre, in fact he applied for planning consent for this in 1999 and was turned down, so in actual fact “JOHN” Fred is probably dancing in his grave at the good news that we succeeded where he failed, so why dont you go back under that stone you crawled out from under and let us honest people who i might add “ALWAYS” worked for a living get on with the job of preserving Freds memory with the wonderful legacy he left us, rather than letting it rot which is obviously what you would prefer to let it do. In other words “get a life”.
Nice one leon.
Ok, guys, that’s enough. You are both arguing with a post made 10 months ago.
Leon, while we have you here how about heading over to the Forum and giving us 5 minutes about the new stuff that’s been going on in the centre? I’m sure twice as many people would be interested in that.
Joe
you right, why dont every one come on down and full fill freds dream
Its not easy work i grant you but with a little of help we can do it.
