Heritage Centre gets planning permission

On the 14th January 2010 the Bolton council planning permission meeting approved the plans for the conversion of Fred former home to a Heritage Centre.

Initially there was concerns from local residences regarding the amount of traffic and parking disruption that the Heritage centre would bring to the area, but the current owners have made a deal with Metro Taxis to provide free transfers to and from Bridge Centre car park in Bedford street. (Ed: does anyone have details/tel/web/email for Metro Taxis, they deserve some extra business for helping out)

Other details that have come out are :

Donations should be sent to 121 Radcliffe Road, Bolton, BL2 1NU or emailing freddibnahtours@live.com or by visiting the Official Heritage Centre’s Official eBay page.

Aye, well – nobody’s been killed, but it’s bloody knackered up their fancy day tomorrow, like. Fell down a day early! (after a chimney that he was preparing for demolition fell down spontaneously a day too soon)
