    Hi Joe,

Just a brief message to introduce my website. http://www.robinsharples.co.uk

As a painter of Northern Millscapes I have had the pleasure of painting many images of Fred working on our local chimney stacks.
As a close friend of Alan McEwen, several of my paintings have been used in his excellent publications. http://www.sledgehammerengineeringpress.co.uk

    Best Wishes
    Robin

      Hi Robin,

I wasn’t aware that you contributed to Alan’s “Fred-Dibnah’s Chimney Drops”, it’s an excellent book (if quite hard to get hold of I understand) got a copy last year for my birthday.

Thanks for posting and please let us know if you have any more Fred pictures for sale, as all the ones I see on your site are sadly sold.

    Hi Joe,

Good to hear from you and glad that you enjoyed Alans book.

If anyone is interested in a copy of Fred Dibnahs Chimney Drops, I am sure that if you contact Alan through his website, http://www.sledgehammerengineeringpress.co.uk and mention that you have seen the link on your website, he will provide a signed copy of the book.
His latest publication, Historic Steam Boiler Explosions is also an enjoyable read and I was priveliged to provide the painting that adorns the front cover.

I am always working on new paintings of the local mill scenes and I can always be contacted via my website if anyone is interested in aquiring a painting.
    Best Regards
    Robin
