Dear Sirs,
Re Berkeley Vale Railway
How are you all these days, I hope well?
Just a line to state that much has happened re the railway itself, the Christian community project (Proactive Vision) and the industry supporting it all.
We are seemingly in late stages with Network Rail and others. All seems to be cooking well. Some of these types of arrangements do take time as you would be well aware. A bit boring for people like us sometimes, but the progress is wonderful I must declare.
I am hoping to have some rather juicy news for you before too long on the railway front, as we have been very successful with many aspects of it.
Unfortunately, because of the long time it has taken to get through the bureaucratic bit, we were not in time for the Big Lottery Village SOS, even though we were in the finals. The lottery have deemed us however ‘lottery qualified’ and have told us to return to them as soon as we are free to do things with them. We have responded favourably.
Please stand by, I think there is a biggy coming soon.

If you care to get in touch with Steam Railway Mag or email us on the temporary email address I am sure we can involve you with whatever you would like to do.
This organisation is not typical as it is a part of a much larger community project and may take a little time to get to steam or diesel, but it is central to the west of England and you will be made welcome as a member of a great family I am sure.
